Inside the yurts guests will find a king size bed on the ground level, with a ladder leading up to a mezzanine deck that can accommodate up to 4 single mattresses. Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen, complete with an oven, hobs, and fridge with small freezer compartment. There is also a dining table that can seat up to 6 people. Each yurt - which all have different layouts - has a woodburning stove for those cold nights and also a perspex dome on the roof that can be opened when the weather is warmer. Finally, there is an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and hot and cold running water.
Outside there is seating around a firepit, a hammock for relaxing in, and also a barbecue so guests can enjoy some alfresco dining. When booked together the yurts act as the basis for the perfect group holiday, accommodating up to 30 people in total and boasting a communal deck with firepit and also a dining yurt seating up to 25.
The Garlic Farm itself has been growing its famous product for over 50 years and there is plenty to do onsite. Located in the beautiful Arreton Valley there are several walks to be taken through the wild flowers and crops. The farm shop is open 7 days a week and is brimming with garlic goodies, as is the exceptional gourmet food in the restaurant. Visit in August and attend the annual Isle of Wight Garlic Festival.
Venture out of the farm and there is also a variety of attractions nearby. Meet some birds of prey at Haven Falconry, hop on a train at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, or enjoy a glass of wine at the Adgeston Vineyard - all within 3 miles of The Garlic Farm.
