Inside, you’ll find spaces designed for both grandeur and togetherness. The reception rooms are rich with character – glistening chandeliers, intricate ceiling cornices, antique clocks and local artwork that nods to the region’s heritage. The heart of the home is the spectacular kitchen and dining area – a cook’s dream, complete with marble surfaces, four electric ovens, an induction hob and space to seat 24 guests beneath a dazzling chandelier. The seven ensuite bedrooms are equally impressive, styled in calming hues of blush pink, soft blue and warm neutrals. Two master suites feature super-king size beds and elegant marble bathrooms with freestanding tubs overlooking the park. A ground-floor disabled suite ensures comfort for all guests, while zip-and-link beds in several rooms offer flexibility for families and groups.

Outside, the magic continues. Explore 20 acres of private parkland, complete with a trampoline, playhouse hut and plenty of space for adventures. As the evening draws in, head to the enchanting BBQ House – a cosy woodland-style lodge with a modern indoor fire pit, perfect for toasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the stars. A bubbling hot tub adds a final touch of indulgence to this exceptional estate.

Venture beyond the gates and you’re moments from Cockermouth’s independent shops, cafés and historic landmarks.
