Nestled amongst woodland, this romantic wooden cabin offers seclusion and tranquility for couples seeking a bolthole from the busyness of everyday life. Constructed from timber and boasting an impressive window with a patio door, this lovely hut blends in beautifully with its woodland setting.
A large raised deck is positioned at the front of the property and makes the perfect spot to take in the peaceful environment. Start the day with coffee and croissants, birdsong and sunlight, and end the day with cocoa and star-gazing the wondrous night sky. Situated moments from a pretty pond, this is a magical spot to read, relax and recharge.
Large patio doors open from the deck into the elegant interior. Step on to the warm, soft carpeted floor and head for the comfy sofa. Relax on rainy days in front of the log fire, sipping tea and listening to the squall pass overhead.
This large studio room has a king size bed with a great quality mattress and crisp, white linens. Long days in the open air and this comfortable sleeping arrangement guarantees a deep night's sleep.
In the morning, wake to the sound of the birdsong and the water gently lapping on the pond-side. Pull back the thick curtains, throw open the doors and let the fresh air flow, maybe hop back into bed for a lazy start with a morning tea, or head out to the deck and bask in the first rays of the day.
There is a separate kitchen area positioned adjacent to the hut where guests will find a cooker with hob. This outside kitchen is fully-covered and has a letterbox window offering a view outside to the birds.
Spend summer days outdoors, perhaps heading to the water for some fishing, and while-away late evenings toasting marshmallows on the firepit. There is much to keep guests busy on the Ballochneck Estate, from wildlife watching to woodland walks, fishing and clay pigeon shooting.
Beyond the estate, visitors can bag a Munro, or visit nearby Loch Lomond. And when it's time to eat, head to one of the many cosy pubs - The Inn at Kippen is just five miles away, or make a reservation at Michelin-starred Martin Wishart at Cameron House for a special night out.
