Dating back more than 450 years, this beautifully restored farmhouse blends centuries of history with luxurious modern comforts, creating a warm and welcoming retreat for family gatherings, celebrations and relaxing escapes in the glorious Shropshire countryside.

Inside, original character features are found at every turn. Exposed beams, mullion windows and a charming Victorian bread oven sit alongside carefully considered interiors that make the house feel both elegant and wonderfully homely. The restoration was completed using natural materials including sheep's wool and wood fibre insulation, allowing the building to breathe naturally throughout the seasons while creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere.

The welcoming sitting room is the perfect place to gather after a day exploring the countryside. Sink into a comfy sofa beside the impressive inglenook fireplace, light the wood-burning stove on cooler evenings and enjoy good conversation, board games or your favourite film on the Smart TV.

At the heart of the house is the spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area. Fully equipped for self-catering, it features a large social island where everyone can chat while meals are prepared, alongside a generous dining table seating up to 12 guests. Whether you're cooking a celebratory feast or enjoying a leisurely breakfast before heading out for the day, this sociable space makes spending time together effortless. Sleeping up to 10 guests, the farmhouse offers five beautifully appointed bedrooms. The master suite enjoys sweeping views across the Shropshire Hills along with its own private dressing room. A second bedroom features a super-king size bed and additional trundle beds, while three further king size bedrooms ensure everyone enjoys a restful night's sleep. Three stylish bathrooms, including one with a luxurious roll-top bath, provide plenty of space for larger groups, while a children's playroom makes this an ideal choice for families.

Step outside and the magic continues. Double doors lead to a private courtyard where an outdoor kitchen, Kamado Joe BBQ, bar, open fireplace and covered seating create the ultimate alfresco entertaining space. Long lunches roll effortlessly into evenings beneath the stars, while the south-facing garden and orchard offer plenty of room for children to play or for adults simply to relax and admire the sweeping countryside views.

If you want to bring extra guests with you, there are Shepherd Huts available on-site as an additional add on to your stay that sleep an extra two adults and two children. If you wish to add one of these to your stay then you should mention this when enquiring.
