Enjoy a sundowner in the back garden whilst taking in those awe-inspiring views, or gaze up at the stars at night and make the most of the lack of light pollution in this marvellous part of Wales.
Once you step inside the beautifully restored Welsh farmhouse you'll be wowed by its style, modern amenities, and top quality furnishings. And seeing as you can bring your family & friends and one four-legged companion with you, this really is the ideal spot for whole-family getaways. The property has plenty of open space, which makes socialising a joy, and the fantastic, fully-equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing hearty meals for your entire group. The truly heavenly kitchen is not only excellently equipped, with an island for prepping, two ovens, a hob, a combi microwave, a dishwasher, and a large fridge, but it is also an ideal space for entertaining or keeping the designated cook company with a nice glass of wine. This space also offers yet more gorgeous views out across the valley.
When it comes to dinner time, you can enjoy meals in the fabulous dining room, which is the ultimate space for dinner parties and comes with a cosy wood burner to keep you nice and warm in the colder months. Or, why not enjoy meals al fresco in the peaceful garden where you can dine with your loved ones whilst taking in panoramic views? After dinner, be sure to light the fire-pit outside, or head back into the cosy sitting room and gather around the inglenook fireplace. The larger sitting room offers yet more lovely views, and it also makes a great space to watch a film. Guests can also play their favourite tunes on the Bose SoundDock and do a bit of dancing!
The three beautiful bedrooms ensure that guests are guaranteed a fabulous night's sleep. Each room boasts ultra-comfy beds that come with luxury feather and down duvets and pillows, as well as cashmere throws, and crisp bed linen. Two of the bedrooms are in the older part of the house. Firstly, the master bedroom, which is very spacious with a king-size bed and then bedroom two that sleeps up to four guests in a king-size bed and double bed. Bedroom three also has a king size bed is on completely the other side of the farmhouse with its own spiral stair case, just above the TV room.
After a long day out exploring the Brecon Beacons, why not relax in the giant freestanding bath tub for a luxurious soak? This marble bathtub is enormous, it's big enough for two, and sits in its own detached stone outbuilding in the courtyard garden for extra privacy. This tub is the perfect spot for a glass of bubbly or just to while away the time with your favourite book. There are also two shower rooms located at each end of the farmhouse for added convenience.
Llangattock is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Sitting in south Wales, it boasts some of the UK's most arresting scenery. This, along with its many undulating hills and rising peaks, make it a favourite with nature lovers, hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders. Near to Llangattock is the small town of Crickhowell, perfect for stocking up or enjoying some local fare or a tipple in one of the local pubs. Less than a 20-minute drive to the east is Abergavenny, a small market town which hosts a popular food festival every September. Should you wish to venture a little further, then Henrhyd waterfalls are approximately 50-minutes to the west. The nearby Welsh Borders are also dotted with numerous Norman castles, including Raglan, White Castle, Grosmont, and Skenfrith.
