Fulfil your childhood wishes and enter the realms of make-believe at this story-book-inspired treehouse in picture-perfect Blean. Set in its own whimsical garden on the edge of a magical woodland reserve, The Enchanted Faraway Tree is for grown-up fairy tales. Sunbathe by the toadstool and sip champagne in the hot tub, toasting marshmallows on the fire and stealing a kiss beneath the moonlight. Blending fantastical adventures with sophisticated luxuries, it is an unforgettable treehouse for loved-up couples.
The handcrafted treehouse is nestled at the bottom of the secret garden, past the swinging wooden bench and the roaring fire pit. Complete with its own open-air hot tub and indulgent bathroom cabin, it weaves the comforts of home with a decadent tale of passion. Look out for the thick, fluffy robes and the thoughtful welcome hamper, or the deluxe Elemis toiletries and twin hot water showers.
Enter on the ground floor into your own weird and wonderful living room, finished with gnarled wooden walls and natural timber floorboards. Curious patchwork chairs add to its fanciful charisma and are joined by a hand-carved window seat and uneven dining table. Higgledy-piggledy pots hang beside the rustic wood-fired range, next to the handmade tree trunk kitchen with its crooked stone enclave. There’s a log burner and central heating to keep things toasty, along with a whistling kettle for your morning coffee.
Follow the peculiar paddle stairs up to the imaginative treehouse bedroom, to discover your own romantic retreat with a large domed ceiling. Stargaze at night and enjoy a dreamy night’s sleep, watching for the pink-hued sunrise beneath your designer sheets. Escapist woodland artwork covers the quirky curved walls and creates a natural atmosphere where you can get away from it all.
Back down on the ground floor and just outside the living room, is the outdoor wood-fired hot tub and modern bathroom cabin. Start your day with a lazy lie-in and a refreshing morning shower and end it with a steaming hot tub till the early hours.
While away your days in Kent’s wild, open countryside, visiting medieval castles and its secluded, sandy coastline. Canterbury and Whitstable are just a short drive away, along with the charming seaside towns of Broadstairs and Folkestone. Closer to home, you can walk to the nearby village pub, taking in the local scenery and the delicious homecooked grub. With no WIFI or TV, you can focus solely on each other, indulging in a traditional fairy tale romance and a new-age digital detox.
