This bewitching beachside getaway for two sits in the quaint harbour settlement of West Bay, Dorset. Hugging the ancient Jurassic Coast, The Cornish Studio provides ideal access to the rugged coastline and beyond. Upon arrival, guests will be struck by its beautiful composition and hospitable atmosphere. With its romantic coastal views, cosy Hygge inspired décor, and wonderful location in one of England's most beautiful regions, The Cornish Studio promises to be the ideal couple's retreat.
The interior has been beautifully designed by the owners, with comfort and style both given equal consideration. Features such as exposed brick, wooden panelling, and a warm Scandinavian pallet give this property a comforting and homely air. The spacious living area is open planned, benefitting from a cosy wood burning stove which sits in the brick chimney place. A plush L-shaped sofa looks out the large, angled bay window, which has a charming dining bench for you to enjoy your meals at. Dine by the windows while admiring by the arresting views of the adjacent marina. The kitchen area comes well-equipped (including your own coffee machine) and has a little breakfast bar area. After a long day on the beach, you can rest easy in the cosy double bedroom, covered in the finest quality linens. The meticulously decorated bathroom is adjoined to the bedroom and comes with a bath and rain head shower, along with views of the nearby clifftops.
The East Beach will be right outside your door. Why not take a walk along the famous cliffs, have a dip in the sea, or take your double kayak to Burton Bradstock for lunch at the Hive café? Should you wish to venture further, then the local area has plenty to see and do. Besides the gorgeous countryside, there are numerous charming towns and villages in the vicinity. A 15-minute drive away, in west Dorset, is Lyme Regis. Known as "The Pearl of Dorset", this beautiful coastal town is famed for its beaches and cliffs along the Jurassic Coast. The picturesque town of Beaminster is also just five minutes away and is well worth the visit. The quaint village of Hinton St George is also a mile and a half's drive, while the market town of Crewkerne is two miles to the east.
