Looking out towards Westward Ho and the Taw and Torridge Estuaries, The Chalet sits beside Saunton Sands in North Devon. With several apartments including a stunning penthouse, the building has its own landscaped gardens with a direct path down to the beach.
Modern and carefully designed, The Chalet’s apartments cover four floors. The wonderful sea views and balconies from which to enjoy them, make them particularly special. Some of the apartments also welcome dogs, so all the family can enjoy a break by the beach.
Apartments 1 and 2 are on the garden level. Apartment 1 has a fine beach view and a master suite with a roll-top bath and king-size bed, plus a further double and twin bedroom. Both the master and double enjoy access to the terrace, looking out to sea. Apartment 2 looks out on the gardens and the beach beyond, with the same configuration of bedrooms.
On the entrance level, you have Apartments 3 and 4, which both offer a wonderful view of Saunton Sands. As with all the apartments, these have a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, as well as a large, open-plan living space. Given their location, these apartments are the most easily accessible of all.
Apartments 5 and 6, on the first floor, give you some of the best views due to their elevated position. French doors in the living areas open onto a shared balcony. The contemporary design and luxury features continue, including a roll-top bath and separate en suite in the master bedroom.
Finally, you have the Penthouse – a stunning two-bedroom apartment with a double and twin, both of them en suite. A private staircase leads you to the living area, incorporating a comfy lounge with wood-burner, surround sound music system and widescreen TV. The sea views are uninterrupted from the smart kitchen with breakfast island… and, your dog is welcome too.
The Chalet provides the perfect opportunity to be at one with nature. As well as the three-mile long Saunton Sands, beaches including Croyde and Woolacombe are close by. There is also the spectacular Braunton Burrows, a UNESCO biosphere reserve just beyond Saunton beach itself.
