Step through a towering Jurassic-style wall and into another world. Hidden behind its ancient-looking stone, The Cave is an extraordinary retreat that feels part fantasy, part modern masterpiece offering groups of up to five guests a unique stay in the heart of Kent. The moment you step through the wooden gate, the outside world fades away, replaced by the sound of trickling water, the warmth of a fire pit and the calm embrace of your own private hot tub.
Inside, soft stone textures, flowing curves and sculpted organic forms create a space that feels both ancient and deeply contemporary. Sleeping up to five guests, The Cave features two double beds and a cosy bunk built seamlessly into the design. One of the double bedrooms lies beneath a spectacular glass-ceiling skylight - a show-stopping feature that lets you drift off beneath the stars. There are two bathrooms, including a luxurious wet room, both blending natural style with indulgent modern touches.
The heart of the home is the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The fully equipped kitchen - complete with handcrafted concrete sink, gas hob, oven, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer - invites you to cook, create and gather. The adjoining living space wraps you in warmth with its log burner, underfloor heating and soft, atmospheric lighting. Whether you’re curling up with a glass of wine or sharing stories around the fire, every inch of this space feels deeply relaxing.
Step through large patio doors and you’ll discover a second private garden. Sink into the hand-built concrete hot tub, prepare dinner in the wood-fired pizza oven or gather around the fire pit as the stars come out.
Beyond this hidden haven, Kent invites you to explore its rich heritage and natural beauty. Visit Canterbury Cathedral’s soaring spires, the fairytale towers of Leeds Castle or the famous White Cliffs of Dover. Wander the lush orchards and gardens that earned Kent its title as the Garden of England, or step into history at the Historic Dockyard Chatham.
