Leave a reviewReally loved staying at Carpenters Cabin - private, lovely views, really enjoyed the silence and sitting around the fire pit in the evening with a glass of wine. Romantic place! Fantastic location in one of the most beautiful areas I know. Interactions with Fiona were easy, quick, and very friendly.

We had the most wonderful short stay at this secluded cabin. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful atmosphere—tucked away from the noise of everyday life, yet thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for comfort. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully maintained, with little touches that made it feel extra welcoming. Waking up to birdsong and enjoying coffee on the porch while taking in the surrounding trees felt like stepping into another world. Evenings were just as special, the use of the fire pit creating the perfect backdrop for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Though it felt perfectly remote, I never once felt isolated—the hosts provided clear directions, quick communication, and had everything ready for a smooth and stress-free stay. If you’re looking for a refreshing break in nature where you can truly slow down, breathe deeply, and recharge, this cabin is a hidden gem. We only wish we could have stayed longer, and I’m already looking forward to returning! Also to recommend a trip to Langhams Vineyard, 10mins up the road and only a short distance from either Dorchester or Weymouth should you wish for a bit more noise.
