Quaint and cosy, this charming cottage for two sits in the rolling Cornish countryside and offers couples a calming spot for a romantic getaway. With sprawling hills all around, you’ll be able to unwind in style, sitting out in the quaint garden taking in the views.
Inside, the home oozes rural charm thanks to its striking inglenook fireplace, exposed wooden beams and lovely whitewashed walls. Light the log burner on cool days and enjoy a glass of wine on the sofa as the flames flicker away. There’s also a TV here, so you can enjoy a movie night or box set marathon with your partner as the evening turns to night.
The open plan living space features a modern kitchen, which is equipped with everything you will need to prepare hearty meals during your stay. And, when dinner is ready, you can dine together in the main living space, or take your meal alfresco in the peaceful garden.
Outside, The Brew House has a nice patio with some outdoor seating and a lawned garden where you can relax in the sunshine. There are some loungers on the lawn too, offering a lovely spot to delve into a good book whilst taking in the view.
When night falls, the cottage has a charming bathroom with a big bath for indulgent soaks. Then, head to the peaceful bedroom and enjoy a wonderful night’s sleep.
If you wish to venture out and explore the local area, there’s lots to see and do. If you fancy a day on the beach you’re in luck. The nearby beaches include the family-friendly sands of Harlyn and Constantine to the surf havens of Polzeath and Watergate, and the scenic, tranquil shores of Daymer Bay and Porthcothan. Other attractions nearby offer a perfect mix of outdoor adventure, coastal fun and cultural experiences, from scenic cycling trails and surfing beaches to historic sites, wildlife safaris and award-winning vineyards.
