Set on the Sicilian coast with beautiful views of the Mediterranean sea, Terre di Bea is a traditional cottage that has recently been renovated to create a luxurious ‘eco-sanctuary’. Hand-sculpted local stone, chestnut beams and ancient clay tiles have all been used to restore this rustic cottage, staying true to Sicilian building traditions. You’ll find the interior and the colourful outdoor spaces have been decorated with pieces by local artists and craftspeople, adding to the celebration of the local culture and style.
Given the stunning natural surroundings, there’s a focus on outdoor living and you can cook in the outdoor kitchen and enjoy your meals alfresco surrounded by vibrant erica shrubs and corbezzoli trees. Spend lazy afternoons relaxing in the hammock or on the day bed by the pool and sit out late into the evening, stargazing in the outdoor lounge area.
You’ll find the decor is inspired by the Sicilian landscape, using colours that complement the coastal location, light fabrics and natural wood accents. This theme continues whether you’re relaxing in the cool living room inside or soaking up the scenery in the outdoor lounge. You’ll also find many paintings and sculptures throughout the cottage and if one of these catches your eye, they’re available to purchase, supporting one of the local artists.
There are two bedrooms, each with its own entrance, luxurious beds and a bathroom with a rain shower. In the mornings, go for a refreshing dip in the pool before breakfast out on the terrace looking out over the sea. Choose to cook inside or in the sheltered outdoor kitchen with its beautiful sea view, BBQ and mini bar stocked with local fruit, Sicilian wines and soft drinks.
Terre de Bea is located in the heart of the Pine Ridge Forest Reserve of the Parco Delle Madonie on the north coast of Sicily. You can go hiking in the park, climbing high into the mountains to be rewarded with the fantastic views over Palermo, Cefalù and out to sea. If you prefer a slower pace, head down to the coast and take your pick from the many beautiful beaches or explore the medieval city of Cefalù with its pretty houses rising up from the shore, Byzantine mosaics and Norman cathedral. You’ll also be able to find plenty of fantastic restaurants here serving up the freshest seafood.

This place is an oasis. Terraced onto a hill are completely private spaces that allow you to be together with your companions or separated as you wish; sun and swim on one level, on another a charming cabin with a large outdoor kitchen on one side and shaded hammocks on the other, all with views of the sea. No neighbors. It’s heaven. Antonio is a gracious host who enthusiastically wants your stay to be the best experience. He tailored the space to accommodate our needs and guided us to places we never would have discovered without him. We were treated like family. We feel lucky to have met him and to have stayed in this space he created. Rent it!

We had the pleasure of staying at antonio's stunning house near Cefalù, Sicily, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, our host was incredibly charming and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous—beautifully designed with impeccable taste and attention to detail in every corner. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible pool. We spent countless hours relaxing by the water, soaking up the Sicilian sun, and enjoying the breathtaking views that stretched out before us. The view from the property is nothing short of astounding; you can see the rolling hills and the sparkling sea, which creates a perfect backdrop for a serene getaway. Every element of this house has been thoughtfully curated, and it truly felt like a home away from home. If you’re looking for a luxurious and peaceful retreat with a warm and hospitable host, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a hidden gem in Sicily.
