The detail

Nestled away on the idyllic South Devon coastline, a short walk from one of the region’s most popular beaches, this luxurious holiday cottage makes a delightful romantic escape for couples or a tranquil retreat for families and friends. The property is the perfect place to unwind. Guests can catch some rays in the courtyard, open the balcony doors and take in the stunning sea views or cosy up around the log burner on chilly days.

The two-bedroom bolthole has been beautifully designed and oozes rustic charm. A highlight of the property is the spacious, open plan living area. A lovely spot to socialise or relax, the bright and airy room has lots of comfy seating, gorgeous views and can be warmed by the traditional log burner. There’s also a smart TV and a selection of books and board games to keep everyone occupied on rainy days.

When it’s time for tea, the fully equipped kitchen awaits for keen chefs to cook up some of Devon’s wonderful local produce. You can enjoy the fruits of your labour around the dining table or dine alfresco in the private courtyard in the warmer months.

The cottage sleeps up to four in two cosy bedrooms, one ensuite double bedroom and a second bedroom that be configured as a twin or super king. Both beds are fitted with luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding to ensure a sound night’s sleep. As well as the ensuite shower room there is a family bathroom with a shower and a bath. Spa-quality towels and complimentary toiletries from sustainable brands are provided in both.

The home is also suitable for remote working, with a sit/stand desk, ergonomic chair, 4K monitor and super-fast broadband – you just need to bring your laptop.

Studio Cottage is found in the picturesque clifftop village of Stoke Fleming, which overlooks Start Bay. Within a five-minute walk, you’ll find a charming village pub, a highly regarded restaurant and a local shop where you can stock up on supplies.

The award-winning beach at Blackpool Sands is just a 15-minute walk from the property, perfect for bathing in the crystal-clear waters, trying out some water sports or relaxing with a tipple from the beach café. The coastline also offers some marvellous walks, including the famous South West Coast Path.

The vibrant towns of Dartmouth, Totnes and Salcombe are all just a short drive away and each makes a great day trip, providing plenty of shops, bars and eateries.
