This beautiful top floor apartment for two sits in a peaceful and picturesque slice of Northumberland countryside. This beautiful residence offers super-comfy furnishings, modern amenities and absolutely no light or noise pollution ensuring you can enjoy a relaxing break beneath some of the darkest night skies in Europe!
You access this amazing apartment via a separate entrance that takes you through a beautiful glass atrium offering amazing views. Inside, the home has a lovely open-plan living space with a gigantic bay window that floods the room with natural light and offers amazing views out across the surrounding countryside. This is the ideal room in which to unwind with the fab lounge furniture at one end, which offers you the chance to get comfy on one of two leather sofas as you enjoy a morning coffee or a movie on the TV. The living space also features some beautiful and historical bookcases that harken back to the home’s past life as a library that once housed a huge collection of old books.
The other end of the living space is where the kitchen and dining area is located. The kitchen is nicely equipped with modern appliances, so it’s nice and easy to whip up delicious meals during your stay. And come dinner time, you and your loved one can dine together on the pretty, ornate dining table whilst gazing out at the view.
When night falls, the apartment has a superb bedroom that features a big comfy king size bed and a deluxe, free-standing roll top bath tub for indulgent soaks. This is the perfect place to truly unwind in style after a day out exploring the surrounding countryside. The bedroom then leads into an ensuite bathroom that has a large walk-in shower.
The apartment also has its own private stargazing terrace, where you can make the most of the amazing dark night skies and spot the constellations with a drink in hand. Lovely apartment with outstanding views. Very clean with a comfortable bed and small kitchen that contained everything needed should you wish to cook. Take a shaver adaptor if you need one as there is no shaver point in the bathroom, but this was not an issue for us. Mary is really responsive to any queries and will help if needed. We had a very minor issue with the boiler and Mary responded quickly, within minutes, and solved the problem. This service is excellent as some places we have stayed in were managed by agents and queries were rarely answered. There is lots to do in the area and a short drive to most places. Would highly recommend.
