- The layout is a little awkward – bedroom three can only be accessed via bedroom two.
- Bedroom two is clearly set up for children with bunk beds and lots of toys.
- There's a dog who usually lives here – it won't be around during your stay, but allergies might be a problem.
- If you’re staying for a longer period of time, the host asks that you help to water the plants.
- This is a lived-in home, expect to share the space with some of the host’s belongings like toiletries, clothes and toys.

Show and Tell is one of those homes that’s brimming with charisma. From the high ceilings to the vintage mid-century furniture and Moroccan style tiles, small treasures are hiding around every corner waiting to be found.
A family home to the bone, it also houses a piano (great for playing cheery tunes) and a stylish children’s bedroom with bunk beds. Moments away from Volkspark Friedrichshain, you’re in an attractive part of Berlin that’s full of soul.
As Berlin’s epicentre of all things family-oriented, Prenzlauer Berg is a popular spot if you are looking for a neighbourhood with character and liveliness mixed with peaceful, tree-lined streets and pre-war buildings.
Bearing associations to counterculture when it was an East Berlin district, the neighbourhood has since experienced rapid gentrification going from a gritty, un-kept neighbourhood with grey facades and empty apartments to a hipster-turned-parent mecca with a thriving health food scene, tonnes of playgrounds, green parks, and child-friendly cafés.
Much of the former street culture that used to be an integral part of Prenzlauer Berg life is still around, albeit in more polished versions in the shape of street art and cultural initiatives like the former brewery-complex-turned-cultural centre, KulturBrauerei. Prenzlauer Berg is also home to a fair share of concept stores, small boutique shops and some casual nightlife that’s enriched by students living in the area.
