This marvellous shepherd’s hut sits on a peaceful slice of the Jurassic Coast offering stunning views out to sea. Ideal for a romantic couple’s getaway, Seatown Shepherd’s Hut (also known as Shepherd Spy) has everything you need for a cosy stay, combined with a superb location close to some of the UK’s most beautiful coastlines.
When you arrive, you’ll find yourself situated on a private piece of land that overlooks the sea. Outside you have a tranquil garden with an alfresco dining spot that doubles up as an ideal location for an evening drink whilst watching the sun set.
Inside, the hut is comfy and cosy, with rustic charm in abundance. There’s a nicely equipped kitchen that has a small sink, fridge, kettle, toaster and a Neff hob for whipping up a romantic feast. You also have a Nespresso coffee pod machine for that all-important first brew of the day. And, if you fancy grilling up some delicious local produce in the summer sunshine, a BBQ is provided for you to make use of.
The hut’s cosy dining area sits beneath a skylight window, and sets the scene for romantic meals inside, should the weather outside drive you in. However, this end of the hut also converts to a super-comfy double bed at night and the skylight allows you to gaze off whilst staring up at the constellations. The hut’s compact bathroom is convenient and has a toilet, basin and electric powered shower, whilst towels, beach towels and a hairdryer are also supplied.
Tucked away in the peaceful hamlet of Seatown, this cosy and romantic hut is the perfect coastal retreat. Just steps from the beach, it's within walking distance of the award-winning Anchor Inn and the scenic Golden Cap coastal path. A short drive away, explore the vibrant market town of Bridport with its arts scene and food markets, or visit the historic seaside town of Lyme Regis, known for fossil hunting and charming shops. Whether you're after sea views, coastal walks or local culture, this hut offers an idyllic base for discovering the beauty of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.
