This room also has a door leading out to the small private courtyard, which has a bistro table and chairs for an alfresco meal in summer.

Porthmeor’s surfing beach and iconic café as well as the harbour, some of the town’s best restaurants, its galleries and shops, all lie on the doorstep. And for those travelling by car who’d like to explore the whole of St Ives Bay, places like Gwithian, Hayle, Carbis Bay and Lelant are just a few minutes away.

Shell Cottage also provides a parking space, which as most know is a real plus for St Ives, especially during the busy summer season.
