With direct sea views over the Atlantic and the towns of Lelant and St Ives, and just a five-minute walk from the beach, it’s the perfect bolthole for couples and small families. The nautical theme decor is supplemented by modern appliances and rustic fixtures and fittings to create a cosy space to relax and recharge by the seaside.
As you enter Sedgewin Beach Chalet, the calming surroundings and outstanding views encourage you to relax and slow down. Natural wooden tones are supplemented with neutral hues and deep blues that bring the ocean indoors. The open-plan kitchen and living space is your sanctuary of calm that’s perfect for enjoying a hearty breakfast or delicious evening meal. In the summer months, dine alfresco in your private garden as the sun sets over the Atlantic Ocean. Whether you’re packing a lunch to take to the beach or filling hungry bellies after a day spent swimming, surfing and exploring, the small but fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need.
As the day draws to a close and the sun sets over the horizon, it’s time to head to bed to rest up. The cosy double bedroom features plenty of natural light to welcome the new day, while thick sheets allow you to drift off in peace. For the little ones, a separate bedroom with bunk beds that are perfect for sleepy heads. Wake up refreshed and recharged, and enjoy an invigorating shower while breakfast is cooking so you’re ready for another day spent exploring Cornwall.
Hayle Beach is just a five-minute walk away from your chalet. With three miles of golden sands and blue waters, it’s the perfect way to spend a day in the sunshine. Whether it’s building sand castles, surfing or bodyboarding, having a cooling swim or just sitting back and catching some rays, there is nothing more Cornish than a day at the beach. Why not round it off with a traditional pasty, some fresh fish and chips or a famous Cornish ice cream?
Nearby, the charming town of St Ives is quintessentially Cornish. With a picturesque harbour, narrow streets, independent shops and cafes, it’s a must-do to spend a day. Further afield, take in the quaint fishing villages of Mousehole or Port Isaac, the long sands of Towans Beach or spend a day with exotic animals at Paradise Park. The rugged cliffs of Clodgy Point, Seal Island or Gurnard’s Head can all be reached on foot via the stunning South West Coast Path. Of course, no visit to Cornwall would be complete without a visit to nearby Land’s End or Lizard Point.
