Llangollen Shacks

Llangollen Shacks is a collection of four incredible, modern wooden cabins all nestled on their own private slice of a working farm. Other than the farmer and his sheep, who you may see wandering past, you'll be blissfully isolated from the bustling world. These four wonderful escapes are all perfect for solo adventurers or couples looking for a romantic retreat, and you can also bring your canine companion with you.

The four huts are called Robin, Finch, Goose and Puffin, and they are all elegantly furnished and provide everything you could need for a few days of respite.

Solar panels provide sustainable power for light and you can charge devices or leave them in a drawer and help yourself to an endless supply of board games and books.

A kitchenette with complimentary tea and Dark Arts coffee are provided and there's a small eco fridge perfect for two where you can keep your wine or beer nice and cold for a treat after a long walk.

Each cabin also features a luxurious king size bed surrounded by large windows providing stunning views of the surrounding fields and trees. Make a cup of tea and get cosy on the high quality bed linen and just soak up the nature around you. On chilly days a wood burner will keep you and the cabin nice and toasty whilst creating a lovely warm and welcoming environment to relax in.

Open some wine, make up a cheese platter and sit outside at the picnic table with the provided radio for company and enjoy the fresh air in utter peace.

In the morning, after a blissful night's sleep, you can enjoy a powerful hot shower and make use of the complimentary Faith in Nature toiletries before wrapping yourself in the hotel quality towels and heading through for your first cup of coffee.

The cabins are all perfectly situated for nature lovers, hike enthusiasts and those seeking tranquillity and seclusion. But if you do want to meet the locals and enjoy some of the nearby conveniences you're only a short drive from Llangollen. The walk to town is lovely as long as you don't mind a somewhat steep hike back!

For a day of fun activities seek out 'Bearded Man Adventures' and sign up for some axe throwing or archery! You can also book a day of canoeing and canyoning if you want to explore. Treat yourself to a drink at The Corn Mill and enjoy the stunning views across the River Dee. Or pop by Gales Wine Bar, the oldest bar in Wales! Llangollen is full of cafes, bars and restaurants where you can enjoy some excellent meals. Afterwards, head back to you private cabin, light up the fire and play some board games with a mug of hot chocolate before bed.
