Tucked away in the pretty Peak District village of Wetton, this beautifully converted barn offers a peaceful and luxurious retreat for families and groups of friends looking to escape the hustle and bustle. The traditional stone farm building has been carefully renovated to provide plenty of modern comforts while retaining much of its original rustic charm. Enjoy sunny afternoons in the large garden, soaking up the fresh countryside air and getting a BBQ going for lunch. After some exploring in the stunning landscapes and charming villages of the Peak District, rustle up a hearty dinner in the bespoke kitchen before putting your feet up in front of one of the log burners.

The interiors have been designed with socialising in mind with large living and dining spaces, perfect for bringing everyone together. There's a large oval dining table in the spacious entrance hall with room for 16 in front of the original stone fireplace which is now home to a log burner. The kitchen is conveniently located just off this dining space with a full range of modern appliances and an island providing a bit of extra space for dinner preparations. After dinner, retreat to the cosy living room where you'll find big comfy sofas gathered around another log burner, the perfect spot to relax and unwind with a book or watch a movie together.

The barn offers flexible sleeping arrangements, with eight beautifully furnished bedrooms that can accommodate up to 16 guests. All of the bedrooms have their own ensuites and can be set up with king size double beds or twins. Each of the rooms has its own character, some with sloping ceilings and beautiful wooden beams, others with doors leading straight out onto the garden so you can enjoy the fresh countryside air as soon as you wake up. They have all been decorated in neutral tones and are complete with luxurious bedding ensuring a restful night's sleep.

Outside, you'll find the garden is set over two levels. There's a sunken patio area with outdoor seating and a BBQ surrounded by limestone walls, perfect for enjoying alfresco meals on warm summer evenings. The upper level of the garden offers a bit of lawn space for relaxing or playing outdoor games when the sun is shining.

Redhurst Barn is located in the heart of the Peak District in the Manifold Valley, surrounded by rolling farmland, rocky outcrops and picturesque villages. After strolling through the village of Wetton, set off along one of the trails to Butterton or Alstonefield and reward yourselves with a pub lunch or a drink at one of the local watering holes. Head further into the Peak District with a hike up to the famous Thor's Cave for breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. For a less strenuous route, walk along the disused route of the Manifold Railway, now a scenic cycling and walking path that winds through the stunning valley.
