This wonderful, modern home for six sits in a peaceful slice of Devon woodland at the highest point of the Coulscott Estate. Truly secluded and offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside, this is the ideal spot for your next break with family and friends.
When you enter, Pipistrelle Barn has a grand open-plan living space with high ceilings and giant windows that offer an abundance of natural light whilst connecting you to the woodland and valley outside. Slide open the glass doors on warm days and make the most of the inside-outside living on offer, as you step out onto your peaceful terrace and get comfy with a glass of something delicious.
Also outside, you’ll find your private hot tub where you can relax and unwind in style whilst gazing at the incredible view. This is the perfect place to catch up with loved ones as your nearest and dearest prepares dinner.
When it comes to meal prep, the modern kitchen is nicely equipped with everything you’ll need to whip up a feast, and the kitchen island offers a nice spot to perch with a drink and keep your designated chef company. When dinner is ready, enjoy it on the grand dining table that comfortably seats your entire group. After dinner, get comfy on the sofas in the lounge, enjoy a movie on the wall-mounted smart TV or head back outside for an evening tipple as the sun begins to set.
When eyes grow weary, there are three fab bedrooms for you to choose from. The main bedroom features its own ensuite shower room for added privacy, whilst the other two rooms share a family bathroom. You’ll be pleased to know that both bathrooms feature luxury rainforest showers, which add another touch of indulgence to your stay. The first bedroom can be arranged as a super-king room or a twin on request, the second bedroom has a king size bed and the third has a bunk bed for two.

You’ll also have full access to Coulscott’s 20 acres of beautiful grounds - including meadows, streams, woodland trails and safe spaces for children to roam and play. And if you’re in the mood for a day by the sea, the stunning North Devon coast is just a short drive away, offering sandy beaches, scenic clifftop walks, and charming seaside towns to discover.
You and your loved ones can try your hands at watersports locally, or simply relax on the beach, soaking up the sun. Beaches that are a 'must-visit' include Woolacombe (Sunday Times Britain’s Best Beach 2021), Croyde and Saunton Sands, among many others. There is also plenty of adventure to be had for kids of all ages, such as horse riding, sea kayaking safaris, surf lessons, coasteering, wildlife parks and more.
