Pen y Bryn is a stylish and spacious detached cottage in the ever-popular seaside village of Abersoch, offering the perfect blend of period charm and contemporary design. With its elevated position, sea views over St Tudwal’s Islands, and a stunning garden with a hot tub, fire pit and elegant outdoor dining, it promises a stay that’s both indulgent and relaxed.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a home that balances original features with modern sophistication. Exposed wooden beams and period detailing sit happily alongside bespoke fittings and luxurious finishes. At the heart of the house is a spectacular open-plan living space spanning kitchen, dining and lounge areas. The handmade kitchen is a cook’s dream, boasting a Quooker boiling water tap, American-style fridge freezer, 6-drawer AGA, induction hob and even a Ninja Air Fryer, while the sociable layout makes it easy for the chef of the day to stay part of the action. Gather around the large dining table, then relax on sumptuous sofas in front of the Smart TV, complete with sound bar and Sky Box.

There are plenty of places to spread out too. A snug offers a second Smart TV – the perfect teenage hideaway – while a cosy sitting room with log burner is ideal for a quiet read or afternoon nap. Families will love the utility and boot room with its extra fridge, plenty of hanging space and a shower room designed for sandy feet and salty hair after a day on the beach.

Upstairs, five beautifully presented bedrooms await, sleeping up to ten across two king-size rooms, a double, a twin and a bunk room. The master boasts an en-suite, while others enjoy washbasins and walk-in wardrobes. The family shower room completes the picture. From the bedrooms, you can wake to partial sea views across Abersoch Bay – a gentle reminder of just how close you are to the coast.
