Enjoy a relaxing break in this marvellous cabin located in rural Powys that offers groups of four an idyllic and stylish stay. Completed in the summer of 2023, this brand new cabin combines luxury touches like a sleek concrete outdoor bathtub with a peaceful, tranquil setting, to ensure you and your loved ones have a truly restorative break.
Inside, Pen-Rhiw has a cosy open plan living space that features a modern kitchen, which has all the essentials and amenities you need to whip up a feast during your stay. You can also sit up at the breakfast bar with a glass of wine keeping your designated chef company as they cook up a storm. Dine up the breakfast bar or, when the weather’s warm, enjoy alfresco feasts on the outdoor picnic table whilst taking in the incredible views of the rolling hills.
After dinner, light the firepit and get comfy on the outdoor seating, which offers you a great vantage point from which to make the most of the beautiful starry night skies. Or, if the weather’s not too warm, get comfy on the sofa or armchair in the lounge. There’s a good selection of books and board games here for you to make use of throughout your stay.
When bedtime beckons, the cabin has two bedrooms on offer. There’s one on the ground floor that features a big, super-comfy double bed, and the second room is in the loft, with one king size bed that can be arranged as two singles for added flexibility. Both bedrooms make use of luxurious bed linens that are a real haven to sleep in. In the bathroom there is a rainfall shower or you might want to enjoy an indulgent dip in the outdoor bath, whilst taking in your surroundings.
If you wish to venture out and explore, then there are lots of fantastic walking opportunities nearby. The beautiful Powys countryside is awash with stunning scenery from rolling hills to picturesque forests and the pretty Severn Valley is home to an abundance of wildlife. You’re also just a few miles from the historic market town of Llanidloes, that is well worth a visit.
