Step out of the front door and you’re presented with one of Portland’s most vibrant neighbourhoods set in one of the most exciting parts of the city. Step inside, however, and you have a real gem of a holiday home with a retro yet modern design that is uber-stylish, super comfortable and wonderfully finished. High barn style ceilings and big glass doors to the outside ensure that this pretty dwelling is as bright and spacious as can be.
There are two quaint bedrooms, with one of them situated in the loft. Both have comfy queen size beds, with all cotton bedding and warm duvets in winter, to ensure you get the perfect night’s sleep after a day out exploring. The barn also has a bathroom with a big deep bath tub and shower meaning you can take a nice long relaxing soak, indulging in some perfect you time. The gourmet kitchen has everything you need to cook up some lovely food, and you also have a nice dining area with space to feed six people. If you want to take your morning coffee with some fresh air and sunshine, then step out onto your own private patio. The open plan living space has a large TV with cable, and there is also a Bluetooth Tivoli sound system meaning you can choose the musical accompaniment to your holiday. There is also heating and air conditioning at your disposal if required.

Urban Barn is situated in one of the brightest neighbourhoods of this splendid city and if you venture out on foot you’re guaranteed to bump into some interesting, quirky and most important of all, friendly people. Foodies will be pleased with the rich pickings at their fingertips. There are countless top quality restaurants nearby including many on both Clinton and Division Street, which are just a few blocks away. And you only have to take a short wander across the Willamette River and you’re right in the heart of downtown Portland. This cosy and comfy holiday home is perfectly situated to allow you to explore this vibrant city with ease.
The price is $190 per night weekdays (Sunday through Thursday); $210 per night Friday & Saturday for 2 persons; additional persons (except children one and under) is $25 per person up to 4 total
