The detail

Perched above Kamala beach is the seductively luxurious Parinda villa. This five bedroom beauty has everything you need for a five-star stay - from the essential rooftop infinity pool to sleek, spacious interiors. And let’s not forget the basketball court, football pitch and stunning cinema room. The views are spectacular - and with sea, mountain and jungle vistas, you’re completely surrounded by the spellbinding beauty of this exquisite Thai island.

Inside, you’re welcomed by a colourful and spacious hallway. From here, head up the open staircase to discover the large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. The elegant kitchen has a gorgeously contemporary feel, and is fully equipped with an American style fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave and the all important coffee machine. If you don’t fancy cooking, fear not, a chef is available to cook up some delicious Thai dishes.

The living and dining areas are cool and calm, with large windows delightfully showcasing the magnificent views. Comfortable sofas are combined with teak furniture and beautifully handcrafted Thai sculptures and artwork. A deliciously rich teal coloured wall adds a lovely pop of colour that works wonderfully in this modern space.

There are five en-suite bedrooms set over the three floors. These are all tastefully presented with crisp white linens, colourful silk textiles and cooling tiled floors. The marble en-suite bathrooms simply ooze style and luxury. And of course, fluffy towels and decadent toiletries come as standard.

Outside is stunning with the infinity pool overlooking mountain and sea views. There’s a large covered terrace complete with a top-of-the-range BBQ, fabulous dining table and a sumptuously large seating area. It’s an idyllic setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

The additional facilities elevate this villa even further. There’s a glorious open air games room, basketball court, gym and a football pitch. The icing on the cake has to be the cinema room - with cinema seating and an impressively large screen - all you need to do is add popcorn.

Located a short distance from Kamala beach on the West coast of Phuket, it’s an idyllic location. This laid-back area with warm waters and authentic beach shacks offers more relaxed vibes than its more touristy counterparts. However, if you want to dip your toe into the livelier part of the island, it’s only a short journey away. Though with bars on the beach and a vibrant night market, we’re not sure you’ll want to.
