Mousehole is located in the south of Cornwall, just down the coast from Penzance. This pretty fishing village with its picturesque harbour is a lovely place to explore and you can spend a slow afternoon discovering the shops and galleries tucked away in the winding streets. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs where you can get a bite to eat overlooking the harbour or Mounts Bay. There are beautiful walks along the coast in both directions and golden beaches and coves to discover, such as Sennen, Gwynver and Porthcurno. The beautiful open-air Minack Theatre which is set into the cliffs overlooking Mounts Bay is well worth a visit. As is St. Michaels Mount, a tidal island just a little way up the coast.
