Its chic, coastal finish captures the romance of the sea and features crisp whitewashed walls and shades of the ocean. Its high ceilings and massive windows let the light flood in and offer uninterrupted views across the rugged, sandy beaches. Nautical, little trinkets add to its seaside charm, and are joined by colourful artwork and sophisticated prints.
The light-filled living room is spacious and bright, with dual aspect windows looking out over the seafront. Cosy sofas sit on the deep honey-coloured floorboards which are topped with super-soft rugs and contemporary furniture. A well-equipped kitchen lies just next door and is complete with modern appliances and a small dining table. Up on the first floor, you’ll find two lovely, sea-view bedrooms which have comfy double beds and classic furnishings. The master double has its own en-suite with a private balcony overlooking the deep blue sea. From here you can sit back and watch the crashing waves, feeling the wind pass you by with its salty sea spray. A third sea-view bedroom can also be found up on the second floor with snug twin beds for long, morning lie-ins.
Beyond your sea-view retreat there is much to discover, including Whitstable’s rich maritime history and quirky arts character. Its bohemian town centre is brimming with independent boutiques which sit beside contemporary art galleries and seafood delis. Mysterious lanes and secret alleys reveal hidden tales of the past and lead down to the bustling harbour-front with its strong fishing culture. Enjoy old-fashioned fun at the endless beaches, or head to one of the many award-winning restaurants to taste the freshly-caught seafood.
