From the Scots stone and Scandinavian open plan layout to the Danish Dinesen Douglas Fir flooring, the interiors of both the Lodge and Bothy are designed with traditional Scottish and Nordic architecture in mind. Embedded amongst an impressive 188 acres of land, guests can wonder at the beauty of the Scottish wildlife whilst sipping a cup of coffee on the patio. With a hot tub, luxurious beds, and sophisticated interiors, the Muir Estate offers the perfect opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Leave a reviewIf you are looking for the perfect get away then this is the place , from the location to the friendliest welcome you know from the start it’s going to be a great stay . The accommodation was fantastic ,great facilities, the scenic surroundings, relaxing in a hot tub before our hosts made the most delicious meal all from locally sourced ingredients. We found the beds so comfortable and the roaring log fires so atmospheric with the panoramic views from the large windows adding to the cosy feeling watching the snow drifting down from the hills .In all the places we have visited Alick and Clare have to be the best hosts we have had , so welcoming, friendly, there wasn’t anything that was a problem. We will definitely go back here and would not hesitate to recommend this place to everyone we rate it 10 out 10 . One of the best stay’s ever and can’t thank Clare and Alick enough
