The boat has been lovingly restored and decorated to provide a family-friendly glamping experience on this peaceful Northumberland Farm. With its own kitchen, seating area and outdoor deck, there's plenty of room and all the facilities needed for a fun family break. Plus, guests are spoilt for choice in the way of local activities and sites, with the stunning coast and countryside just a short drive away.
Miss Ellie's tasteful, nautical-themed decor speaks to its history as a narrow boat, and adds a touch of fun to any stay on board. Its numerous windows allow for plenty of natural sunlight while affording gorgeous views of the farm throughout. Two small double beds and one set of bunk beds allow accommodation for four adults and two children comfortably, and there is plenty of seating for all both indoors and out. The spacious kitchen is complete with a sink, cooker, and a fridge with an icebox and is ideal for preparing simple meals while the TV and DVD player will keep kids entertained on a cosy evening in. There are two bathrooms, one hot shower and two toilets as well as free wifi to keep connected should you need it, while the electric heaters keep everyone nice and toasty in the winter months. The outdoor seating area allows guests to barbecue in the open air, while taking in the stunning surroundings.
Based on the lovely Middlemoor Farm, Miss Ellie is perfectly located to explore the stunning Northumberland Coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coastline here is beautiful, ideal for scenic walks and beach days to remember. There are plenty of action-packed adventures to be had here, with kayaking and coasteering just some of the watersports to try out. The farm is within walking distance to a delightful eatery which serves breakfast and there is a pub just a few minutes away by car. The local countryside offers some of the most epic landscapes and walking trails, so there is not a chance for boredom!
