Experience a completely unique stay in traditional Italian surroundings at Mirror Houses, which invokes contemporary design with the South Tyrolean Dolomites as the backdrop. Designed by architect Peter Pichler, the pair of holiday homes sit side by side in complete peace and quiet with the beauty of nature all around. The holiday home gets its name from its breathtaking reflective exterior, which conversely makes it stand out while also blending in.

Located just outside the city of Bolzano, each house sleeps between two and four guests. Inside comprises of a stylish kitchen and living area, complete with a dining table and chairs, sofa bed for sleeping extra people, television, and WiFi throughout. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, and Nespresso machine. Huge windows overlook the shared garden, bringing the outside in, while skylights above the large double bed in the bedroom ensures those sleeping are at one with nature. Finally there is a luxurious bathroom with WC, basin, and shower.

Outside the Mirror Houses share a garden, filled with apple trees, and salt water swimming pool - perfect for cooling off during the hot summer months. After a quick dip guests can relax on the sun loungers or make use of the self service pool bar with high stools and a fully stocked fridge filled with goodies.

South Tyrol in Northern Italy is famed for its stunning landscape and excellent cuisine and it is well worth exploring both while staying. In the summer many people hire bikes to get out and about and the beauty of the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm is not to be missed, with the amazing views over the peaks of the Dolomites. In the winter months this area becomes a haven for skiers and snowboarders as they hit the slopes.

Also nearby are the two Monticolo Lakes, known as Laghi di Monticolo in Italian. These accompany the Monticolo Forest and sit in the shadow of the Monte di Mezzo mountain. Popular from spring right through to late autumn, there is also a heated swimming pool and restaurant lakeside. In the winter the lake freezes and can be used for ice skating.
