The details
This wonderful cottage is set amongst the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park, overlooking a peaceful wildflower meadow that gives the property its name. The home is the perfect place to relax and recharge with loved ones, away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Designed for comfort, you’ll find everything you could need for an unforgettable getaway and plenty of space for everyone to unwind. You’ll also have the added luxury of a hot tub on a private deck, where you can bathe in the bubbles and take in the glorious view. You might even catch a glimpse of deer roaming or owls hunting at dusk!
The house has been expertly designed to match the idyllic countryside, with a timber-clad exterior and green roof that extends the meadow up to the sky. Inside is just as impressive, lovingly finished with stylish décor, bespoke furniture and hand-painted murals. At the heart of the home is the open-plan living space, with a high vaulted ceiling and large windows that provide lovely views. Deep leather sofas are set around a log burning stove and Smart TV, ideal for cosy winter evenings and movie nights. The kitchen is a real cook’s dream, kitted out with modern appliances and all the cookware, utensils and crockery needed to prepare and enjoy a delicious meal.
Meadow Hide has two bedrooms, one master bedroom with a king size bed and another bedroom with a super-king size bed that can be converted into two singles if needed. The master bedroom also has a balcony deck with two swing chairs, a great place to hang out and admire the view. There is a delightful, shared bathroom with a walk-in shower and some big fluffy towels.
A real highlight of the property though is the outdoor space and private deck, where sunny afternoons and alfresco evenings can be spent grilling up food on the BBQ or simply relaxing with a glass of your favourite tipple. And of course, this is where you’ll find the hot tub for that extra bit of indulgence. The deck and garden are completely enclosed so children and pets can roam free whilst you soak in the tub.
You’ll have a wealth of places to visit and activities to try out during your stay, with something to suit all ages and tastes. The South Downs National Park is right on your doorstep and the stunning landscape can be explored by foot, bike and horseback. If you fancy a day at the seaside, the sandy shores of West Wittering are just a short drive away, as is the charming coastal village of Bosham, which has a good selection of shops, pubs and eateries. The cities of Chichester and Portsmouth are also within easy reach and both make a great day out.
