Located among the picturesque, low lying hills of the Yorkshire Wolds, this former barn has been tastefully converted to create a wonderfully relaxing bolt hole for four. Situated on a small, rural farmstead, yet within walking distance of a pretty market town, it offers everything you need for a restorative getaway.
Finished to the highest of standards, the red-brick accommodation seamlessly blends original features with modern décor. At the heart of the property is the spacious, open plan living area, with its beautiful, exposed oak beams and cosy wood burner. In this bright and airy space, you can sink into one of the comfortable sofas to relax after a busy day or enjoy watching your favourite programme on the large, flat screen TV.
The country-style kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances and utensils you’ll need to cater for your crew, including an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There’s also a breakfast bar with high stools, which is the perfect place to savour your morning coffee or chat with your guests as dinner is being prepared.
Upstairs you’ll find two beautifully presented ensuite bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and double shower, and one with a double bed, bath tub and double shower. In these restful rooms, exposed wooden beams create a charming rustic feel and contemporary furnishings add a touch of luxury.
Outside this peaceful property is a secluded, decked area, with a private hot tub to relax in, and a lawned garden with outdoor furniture, perfect for alfresco meals in warm weather.

The nearest town is the attractive market town of Pocklington, which is within walking distance of the property. Here you can browse the independent shops, enjoy coffee and a cake in one of the many cosy cafes or treat yourself to a delicious restaurant meal. And if you wish to explore a little further afield, within half an hour you could be in historic York, wandering through the bustling streets of this well-loved walled city.
