If you’re looking for a calming and restful stay by the sea in a house big enough for 10, then you should look no further than Lym House. Situated in the heart of Lyme Regis on the Jurassic Coast, this beautifully restored Georgian home offers the perfect blend of coastal charm and elegant comfort.
The home has been lovingly furnished and decorated, creating a space that is calming and comfy. Relax with your loved ones in the lovely lounge, where big comfy sofas sit around a fireplace. Watch a movie with your nearest and dearest on the wall-mounted smart TV or simply catch up over a cuppa as you plot the day ahead.
Head into the calming kitchen, where a giant cooker and modern appliances make meal preparation a joy. There’s also a fantastic breakfast bar with some bar seating, so you can socialise with your loved one as they whip up a feast. The whitewashed walls and abundant natural light make this a fabulous space in which to cook.
When dinner’s served, you can dine together in the grand dining room, where a huge table sets the scene for wonderful social meals. This really is a fabulous place for a celebratory dinner or a hearty breakfast before you venture out to explore the magnificent Jurassic Coast.
When eyes grow weary, the home has five calming bedrooms on offer that feature super-comfy beds and lovely decor. There are also four stylish bathrooms, two of which feature a striking free-standing bathtub for indulgent, bubbly soaks before bed.
The home sits in the heart of the fabulous town of Lyme Regis. This is a lively seaside town on the Jurassic Coast, with plenty to see and do. Explore the iconic Cobb harbour, stroll through the charming Langmoor and Lister Gardens or hunt for fossils on Monmouth and East Beaches. Take a guided walk along the South West Coast Path or the Undercliff to Axmouth, or cycle the scenic countryside. Visit the Marine Aquarium, Town Mill and fossil museums and enjoy boat trips, paddleboarding or fresh seafood in local cafés.
