Lower Dovedale Manor includes the ground floor of this former pub that has undergone a splendid renovation, making it an ideal retreat for gatherings with extensive groups of friends or extended family.

During your stay you can make the most of the tranquility of the Peak District by venturing out to discover the enchanting nearby villages, or embarking on scenic hikes along trails meandering through the hills and dales. As the day concludes, unite everyone for a communal dinner at the manor's capacious dining table, sharing tales of the day's escapades and outlining plans for tomorrow's adventures.

Step into the manor and navigate through the expansive open-plan living space, radiating a bright and airy ambiance with lofty ceilings adorned with original timber beams and some exposed brick walls. You can unwind with your loved ones in the comfy lounge area, which has a choice of seven comfortable sofas, complemented by underfloor heating for warmth in colder months and air conditioning for use in the summer. While this space serves as the social centre of the house, a separate games room, furnished with board games and seating, provides a quieter alternative.

Whip up delicious feasts throughout your stay in the fully-equipped contemporary kitchen, which has been designed for large groups and features multiple ovens, fridges and dishwashers. The elongated dining table comfortably accommodates 40 guests, creating an ideal setting for celebratory dinners with friends and family.
