Llety Cariad

Llety-Cariad is a stunning, contemporary rural escape split over ground and lower ground levels to make the most of its hillside position. Bifold doors, which run across the entire frontage of the cottage on both levels, perfectly frame the stunning views. There is an exceptional level of attention to detail and a luxurious finish throughout with much of the carpentry bespoke and hand-crafted. On the ground floor you will find beautifully presented twin and double bedrooms, both of which are ensuite. The double bedroom has patio doors which open out directly onto a sun terrace and provides an idyllic spot for a morning coffee.

The open plan living space, also on the ground floor, has been cleverly designed to accommodate a smart kitchen full of high-end appliances, dining area and sitting room with luxurious leather chesterfields and a wood burner. This stunning space extends via bifold doors onto a wrap-around balcony, with access to a large sun terrace with a dining table and hot tub. The floor-to-ceiling views are just stunning and enjoying them from the hot tub with a chilled drink is even better. With all kinds of flora and fauna on the doorstep, and majestic birds including red kites, owls and buzzards soaring overhead, the cottage is a great retreat for nature lovers so sit back, relax and see what you can spot.

Down to the lower ground level, and you will find what is effectively a whole luxury suite. There is a stunning king size double bedroom with bifold doors which open out onto a second large sunny terrace. With views like these you’ll never want to leave your bed! There is a gorgeous separate spa style bathroom with a Chromatherapy shower, body jets and multiple waterflows as well as a fabulous sauna with a Himalayan Salt Wall. This is pampering at its most luxurious.

The extensive, enclosed grounds sit within almost a quarter of an acre. Here you will find perfectly landscaped gardens, two comfortably furnished dining terraces, the hot tub, BBQ and a pizza oven so you can enjoy a pizza with a view which rivals the landscapes of Tuscany. All have been perfectly designed to make the most of the blissful setting. You can even enjoy free range eggs and are welcome to collect eggs each morning from the hen house. And if you'd like to spoil yourselves and have a night off from cooking, private dining can be provided.

There are many wonderful walks to explore straight from the doorstep and in the historic market town of Montgomery, just a couple of miles away, you can join the Offa's Dyke path, a 177 mile National Trail which runs along the England/Wales border. Montgomery is a small Royal Charter Town with a delightful array of artisanal independent shops, including a great delicatessen, art gallery and bookshop, as well as a small farmers market on Thursdays and Saturdays. The National Trust property Powys Castle, CADW Montgomery Castle, Gregynog Hall and Gardens, Glansevern Hall and Gardens, The Llanfair Light Railway, Kerry Vale Vineyard, and the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture are all within ten miles of the cottage.
