The detail

This state of the art villa with its luxurious interior and fabulous chill out area by the pool, is close to beaches, shopping, golf courses, children's entertainment, fantastic restaurants and nightlife. It would be a wonderful choice for large families of up to 12, those travelling with kids and a group of friends wanting a five star holiday close to all that Marbella has to offer.

Situated in Elvira on a 2000-metre squared plot, Villa Las Torcas oozes style, luxury and ease. The interior is sumptuously decorated and very spacious with two large lounges where you can chill and watch a movie, enjoy a fire on rare chilly nights and curl up with a book if you fancy some down time.

The kitchen is high spec, large and fully equipped to whip up a quick breakfast, a lazy lunch or a huge feast of local tapas to share with plenty of cava. When it comes to dining you have a large table by the kitchen for informal meals and a fabulous dining room with a 12-seater table, high ceilings, cosy décor and big sliding doors out on to the terrace and garden. Alfresco dining is, of course, always an option!

This is Spain, and the sun will be drawing you out to the wonderful terrace and garden at every opportunity. Lush rattan sofas and loungers are nestled under cover by big low tables where you can relax in the shade with a cold drink and a selection of local delicacies. Catch up with loved ones, read a thriller, have a snooze, enjoy the panoramic views of mountains and sea and when you start feeling the heat, take a dip in the large swimming pool.

There are seven beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own stunning ensuite, and all of the rooms are spacious, elegant and comfortable, ensuring an excellent night's sleep. With a selection of large double beds and twins available, there is something to suit everyone's needs and the hosts are happy to provide cots if needed.

In the morning you can luxuriate in a long bath, an invigorating shower or simply head out to the pool for a few lengths before settling down to that first cafe con leche, as you make your plans for the day.

You might like to head over to the nearby supermarkets and stock up on goodies then just spend the rest of the day by the pool. If you have kids with you, the villa also has a games room if the sun gets too hot, keeping everyone entertained and happy. With another fabulous alfresco dining area outside you could cook something wonderful and dine under the stars. But if you want to get out and explore, Marbella has something to please everyone. You'll be very close to Spain's most famous beach clubs where you can enjoy some cocktails in the sun. There are award winning restaurants, designer shops, lively bars, excellent golf courses and plenty to entertain the kids.

If it's a day at the beach you're wanting you can't do better than Golden Beach, a popular spot for water sports enthusiasts and sun worshippers. And for those with an adventurous streak there's mountain biking, safari buggy tours and off road quad bike trips to the hills above Marbella.
