Set amidst forest clad hillsides and surrounded by rambling gardens and vineyards, La Collina Del Sole is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse that is sure to leave a wonderful impression on anybody who stays there.

The interior is charmingly traditional; beamed ceilings, Tuscan arches and stone fireplaces are some of the features that remind you of the buildings roots, whilst white washed walls and terracotta tiled floors keep the house cool and add to the charismatic Tuscan feel of the renovated farmhouse. The villa is equipped with Wi-Fi.

Outside the villa truly takes your breath away. You will not be able to stop yourself being in awe of the stunning location; green hills undulate as far as the eye can see and mountain tops crown the horizon against clear blue skies. Patches of verdure are highlighted by sunlight, making the hillsides glow in a thousand shades of green. And often when the sun begins to dip behind those mountain tops you are greeted with dazzling sunsets that will only serve to enhance the beauty that surrounds La Collina Del Sole.

The infinity pool that received an architectural award for best pool in Tuscany allows you to take in the amazing views as you enjoy your swim. Semi circular in shape and generous in size, this sparkling blue gem is probably the best pool in the Garfagnana region.

You’ll have a lot to boast about when you come for a stay at La Collina Del Sole; not only are you staying in a farm house which drips with charm and has the most amazing pool and views, but there is also the gorgeous vineyards in which the house is set, and the rambling gardens where meals can be eaten al fresco. Add to this the fact that a chef is available, if you wish, to cook you Italian food in the traditional Pizza oven, and you have one indulgently relaxing holiday.

La Collina Del Sole is located in the North West of Tuscany, in a beautiful national park which is a rambler’s delight with plenty of easy walks, and more challenging climbs. The nearby city of Castelnuovo Di Garfagnana is a beautiful historic market town, which hosts a lively traditional market every Thursday; visiting the market is a sure-fire way to immerse yourself into the local culture. Further afield, Lucca is a 16th century walled town; narrow streets are lined with terracotta roofed buildings and there are plenty of museums and some cafe-bars and restaurants, which are perfect for a spot of people watching. Because the area is so untouched by mass tourism there are plenty of beautiful authentic towns to explore. If you want to make day trips then the rich heritage of Florence and the beaches and night life of Forte di Marmi are both only 1.5 hour away. Wherever you go you are sure to get a taste of the real Tuscany.
