You should know
- Hydrangea House sleeps up to 10 guests, with a maximum of eight adults, and is particularly well suited to family groups.
- The two pull-out beds in the family bedroom are available on request and cost an additional £50 per bed.
- Up to two dogs are welcome at a charge of £35 per pet per week or part-week. Please enquire if you would like to bring more than two.
- The hot tub must not be used after 10pm and quiet hours run from 11pm until 9am.
- A sound monitor operates inside and outside the property. Excessive noise may incur a £150 fine and CCTV operates at the front of the house.
- Stag and hen parties and groups aged under 25 are not permitted. Respectful adult groups are welcome.
- Parking is free on the street and is not private or allocated.
- The coal barbecue is available from April to October.
- Towels, linen and bathrobes are provided, along with WiFi, central heating and fans in every bedroom and the living room.

This stylish townhouse sits in Hythe’s attractive conservation area overlooking the Royal Military Canal, putting you within easy strolling distance of the seafront, independent shops and some excellent places to eat. Sleeping up to 10 guests, with a maximum of eight adults, it’s a fabulous spot for bringing generations together on the Kent coast.
Inside, there’s plenty of room to spread out while still enjoying those all-important moments together. Sink into the deep sofas beside the wood burner after a windswept beach walk or settle in for a movie on the Smart TV. The spacious kitchen is another natural gathering place, with an island dining table seating 10, a Nespresso machine for leisurely morning coffees and a wine cooler ready for evening drinks. Sliding doors lead straight onto the garden, making it easy to drift between indoor and outdoor living when the sun shines.
Four bedrooms are spread across the upper floors. Two feature super-king size beds, one of which can be arranged as twins with advance notice, while a bunk room is designed for one adult and one child. At the top of the house, the family room has a super-king size bed plus two pull-out beds available on request for an additional charge. There are three ensuite shower rooms, including a Jack and Jill shared between two bedrooms, alongside a ground-floor bathroom with a freestanding bath.
Outside, the enclosed garden provides your own little retreat in the middle of Hythe. Fire up the coal barbecue between April and October, gather around the fire pit or climb into the hot tub for a long soak after a day beside the sea. Two dogs are welcome too, so four-legged family members needn’t miss out on those long coastal walks.
When you’re ready to explore, stroll beside the Royal Military Canal or wander down to Hythe’s shingle beach and follow the promenade towards Folkestone.
