This renovated former cowman's cottage is located in a beautiful spot and offers a mixture or rustic charm and modern luxury. It would be ideal for four people but can accommodate six in total.
The open plan kitchen, living and dining room is light-filled thanks to the three bi-fold glass doors bringing the outside in, and is a lovely welcoming place to start your holiday with a drink. If the weather is glorious you can head out in to the garden and settle on the rattan furniture to take in the views. But if it's later in the day or chilly you'll want to get the wood burner going and settle in for an evening of food and wine in the the fully-equipped kitchen where you can dine at your leisure around the six-seater wooden table with views through the patio doors.
After dinner, cosy up on the two plush leather sofas and enjoy a film whilst the centrally located wood burner keeps everyone's toes toasty. This is also an excellent spot to curl up with a book or enjoy an afternoon nap. The ground floor also has a toilet and shower room, a laundry room and a little snug which can be made up into an extra bedroom if needed.
At bedtime you'll find two delightful bedrooms upstairs. The main bedroom is spacious with a large and very comfortable double bed with high quality bed linens and fluffy pillows where you can languish at your leisure and watch a bit of TV with your morning coffee.The second bedrooms is also a good size and has two comfy single beds, soothing pale walls and a window that lets the morning sun spill into the room. This room is perfect for siblings or even adult friends sharing.
In the morning you can make use of the main upstairs bathroom which has a deep bathtub if you fancy a long soak, or head downstairs and use the shower for a quick wash. Help yourself to fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries whilst you're there.
Enjoy your first coffee out in the garden and take in the fresh air. You'll be staying in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that boasts hundreds of acres of footpaths and tracks to explore. Bring your mountain bike and head to the Hurtwood for an adventure! And if you didn't bring the bike the hosts can assist with the hiring of one at a preferential price.
If the kids are joining you the Virtual Flight Centre is a lot of fun and there are often events on at Guildford Spectrum Leisure Complex. And when you're done with the exploring and adventuring head to the local country pub for a meal and a pint. For pubs further afield you can drive to the White Hart (12-minutes by car) or The Richard Onslow (13-minutes by car).
