- The wood-fired hot tub and sauna are available at an additional cost, so speak to the owners when booking to organise.
- Please bring your own towels and flip flops for use of the hot tub
- Large groups, Hen & Stag Do’s are only available if you book the entire site (all three hideaways).
- Not suitable for children under 10 due to the stream and wildlife garden.

- The train from London takes 50 minutes and the yurt is a 10-minute walk from the train station.

With its charming, cosy interior and wonderful location in a private woodland glade, Hazel Tree Cabin is your ideal romantic getaway in the Chilterns National Landscape. The cabin sits on the edge of a pretty chalk stream and is an ideal place to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin even has a fantastic outdoor bathtub on its private deck, offering you the chance to enjoy an indulgent soak with a view.
The insulated cabin has a cosy and comfy interior, with a fab king size bed at one end sitting beneath some twinkling fairy lights. Enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep here before waking up and sipping your first coffee of the day in bed gazing out the window at your woodland surroundings. The cabin also features some pretty lighting and lovely warming rugs on the floor that add to its charm.
At the other end of the cabin is a quaint kitchenette that's equipped with some basics such as tea, coffee, salt/pepper and cooking oil. And you can perch at the breakfast bar and enjoy meals, or take them outside and eat in fresh country air.
Outside, the cabin has a delightful seating area, with some armchairs sitting around a firepit. Throw some logs on the flames and stay toasty and warm as the stars come out above. You can even make use of the Kadai metal bowl and cook up some delicious local produce over the flames. There’s also a fantastic hammock outside on the private deck, which is perfect for relaxing with a good book in the afternoon sunshine. The deck is also where you'll find the outdoor bathtub.
Guests staying at the cabin will also have the option to make use of their own private hot tub and the sauna during their stay. These are both optional extras that can be pre-booked, so do mention these to the owners when booking your stay if you wish to make use of them.

We spent an enjoyable two nights at Hazel Tree Cabin. It’s a great location for exploring the Chilterns, with lovely walks and cycle routes nearby. The cabin was very clean, well-equipped, and the setting is unique.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Hazel Tree Cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for – peaceful, rural and a real opportunity to switch off and enjoy being surrounded by nature. There was plenty of wildlife around, which made the whole experience feel even more special. The cabin was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, well maintained and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hosts were friendly, welcoming and clearly very knowledgeable about the local area and the cabin itself, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The wood-fired hot tub was a lovely addition. We thoroughly enjoyed it on our first evening. The only slight downside was that, not being familiar with wood-fired hot tubs, we didn’t realise how little firewood was needed to reheat it the following day. We ended up overheating the water to over 60°C, and despite adding cold water once the fire had gone out, we couldn’t get it back to a usable temperature before we left. A little extra guidance for first-time users would have been helpful, but it certainly didn’t detract from an otherwise fantastic stay. The location is ideal too – just a pleasant 10-minute walk into town where there are plenty of pubs, cafés and restaurants, while a supermarket is only a few minutes away by car if you need any essentials. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Hazel Tree Cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape with great hosts and excellent accommodation.
