Situated on a stunning 1.5-acre estate and surrounded by peaceful farmland, Green Farm Barn is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. The barn has been beautifully refurbished and finished to a very high standard, though still oozes rustic country charm. It acts as a wonderful base from which to explore the idyllic Cheshire countryside, with scenic walks, charming pubs and picturesque villages all waiting to be discovered.
The barn has been transformed into a modern holiday home, but original features like its high vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and brickwork have been retained. Guests enter into the bright and airy open-plan living space, which houses the lounge with its woodburning stove, and the well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances and large central island for dining. The property also has another, separate seating area with comfy sofas and a widescreen TV, a cosy spot to watch a film or relax with a good book.
Green Farm Barn sleeps up to four guests in two delightful bedrooms, a spacious master bedroom and a loft room accessed via a ladder in the living area. Both rooms boast luxuriously comfortable beds and bedding to ensure a sound night’s sleep. There is one shared bathroom, with premium toiletries provided.
At the rear of the barn, you’ll find the delightful patio with a large outdoor table, ideal for dining alfresco whilst enjoying the lovely views. There’s also a gravel area, complete with a fire pit and log stools, where guests can grill up a delicious meal under the stars.
You’ll be spoilt for choice with things to do and places to see in the local area. There are a several fantastic footpaths and cycle trails right on your doorstep, where you can venture off into the unspoilt countryside and be rewarded by stopping off at one of many excellent pubs nearby. These include over 10 highly rated gastropubs within a three-mile radius if you wanted a bite to eat.
The popular castles at Cholmondeley and Beeston are both under three miles away, as is BeWILDerworld, an adventure park featuring treetop rope courses and zip lines that kids will be sure to love. Cheshire is also renowned for its towns and villages, characterised by their old cottages and narrow winding lanes. Tarporley and Whitchurch are both just a short drive away and well worth visiting for their independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
