Situated in the heart of the historic city of York, The Georgian Townhouse, at No 70 Walmgate, is a beautiful holiday home for groups of up to 11 guests. The Grade II listed house is grand, spacious and full of character that was recently restored into a truly boutique home. The modern amenities combine with the rich array of period features to create a home that offers something for everyone - it even has a secret staircase!

The rooms at The Georgian Townhouse feature a range of antique and modern furniture, and each bedroom exudes its own distinctive character. Guests have five fantastic bedrooms to choose from, which all offer big, supremely comfortable beds that guarantee you a great night’s sleep. Rooms offer a mixture of king size, super-king size and twin beds, however, three of the rooms are flexible and can be configured as twins or super-king size for added convenience. Before bed enjoy a relaxing soak in one of the opulent, free-standing bath tubs, offering you the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day exploring York.

Downstairs, the large kitchen/dining space has a wonderful tiled floor and a super-stylish kitchen with a lovely marble work surface and a huge kitchen island where you can sit with a nice glass of wine and watch your designated chef chopping away. Once dinner’s ready, sit at the spacious, rustic dining table and enjoy candlelit meals that stretch long into the night. To enhance your experience further, a generous welcome hamper awaits, featuring a bottle of prosecco and delectable locally sourced treats.
