Learn moreSkylark glamping is the ideal way for families to enjoy all the fun of camping without any of the hard work.
Skylark is a wooden-framed, canvas tent that's snug, spacious and well-equipped for memorable stays whatever the weather. It's surrounded by acres of green fields and pretty woodland, and, although there are two other glamping tents sharing the same field, has an abundance of space and a private outlook.
Relax with a morning coffee on the lovely wooden deck, take in the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings, listen to the chatter of the birdlife and breathe in the clean country air. On sunny days, play games on the large grassy expanse or merely laze in the warm sunlight. And should the weather turn chilly and wet, this dry, cosy tent is a bolthole for hunkering-down, stoking up the wood burner and sinking into the large sofa, warming toes and listening to the rainfall on the sturdy, waterproof, canvas roof.
A good-sized, beautifully-crafted, modern kitchen elevates camping fodder to fabulous feasts. There is plenty of great quality, fresh food available onsite ready to be cooked-up and enjoyed at the wooden table which has plenty of space for six. On dry days, pull open the tent doors and enjoy the pretty views, or light some candles and make the most of the atmospheric surroundings. Skylark comes with its own Weber BBQ and wooden picnic table for easy al fresco dining - be sure to stock up at the farm shop for the best quality steaks and sausages.
At bedtime, forget about shivering under sleeping bags on lumpy floors and enjoy the quality mattresses and snuggly duvets and pillows in the private bedrooms. Youngsters will love the bunk beds and the secret cupboard bed.
Say goodbye to midnight, torchlit treks to communal toilets and enjoy the luxury of a proper bathroom with a flushing toilet and hot shower.
There is plenty to keep glampers busy on site, from lamb feeding to woodland walks, but those with young children might want to take a trip to the ever popular, Peppa Pig World nearby at Paultons Park. Or head to ancient Stone Henge and marvel at the mystical obelisks.
