Futuro House is a unique, space-age glamping retreat at Marston Park in Frome that sleeps four. Originally conceptualised in the '60s by renowned Finnish architect Matti Suuronen, only two Futuro Houses are used as holiday lets today, with the other being in Russia! Featuring built-in mood lighting and speakers, the property boasts truly top-notch ambiance, combined with its tranquil lake views and leafy glade setting, ensuring Futuro House is nothing short of idyllic for those looking for a relaxed weekend getaway.
The property's living space is open-plan and is easily rearranged to tailor it to your party's needs at a moment's notice. And, guests who enjoy spending time in the great outdoors will appreciate its firepit and outdoor seating, both of which are especially lovely on a warm summer's evening. Guests keen to really unwind will love the complimentary hot tub session that is included when you book Futuro House, too.
Located in Marston Park, Futuro House offers guests access to onsite facilities, including a bar and restaurant, entertainment, showers, and toilets. Inside the cabin is a charming kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities and there are two double beds tucked away in separate, snug sleeping cabins. The living space boasts comfortable reclining chairs and a generous round table, which is perfect for enjoying some quality time with your nearest and dearest.
Another major perk of staying in Futuro House is that the property is located in arguably one of the most interesting and diverse parts of the UK. Just a stone's throw away from Frome is the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which covers an incredible 380 miles of gorgeous countryside. Enjoy ample cycling and walking paths with rolling hills, picturesque villages and fantastic vistas.
Those interested in venturing further afield will have some of the country's most significant historical sites and settlements just a short drive away from the property, too. The charming, ancient city of Bath is definitely worth a visit for guests who haven't been before; with an ancient Roman Spa, gorgeous Bath Abbey and some excellent restaurants and cafes to choose from, there's plenty to do and see on a day trip there. What's more, iconic Stonehenge is about half an hour from Marston Park and the world-renowned neolithic site is, frankly, an absolute must-see for anyone with an interest in history.
