The Details...

Become hosts of the century at this grand wine estate where you’ll find a magnificent, country villa that’s a true Provencal great. Boasting breath-taking, country views and luxurious, living spaces, Ferme St Martin offers an unforgettable experience. Socialise by the pool and enjoy indulgent, alfresco dining, reconnecting with loved ones and creating memories that last a lifetime. Bask in the majestic Provencal scenery and explore its undiscovered valley, marvelling at its rich, fertile pastures and dramatic, rolling mountains.

Ferme St Martin is set in the Vaucluse department of Provence, close to the medieval village of Venasque amongst tranquil, untouched countryside. Its 22 acres of sprawling grounds are home to lush, rural scenes, including a renowned, working vineyard and lines of ancient olive trees.

The villa itself is placed at the end of a lavender-lined driveway and is surrounded by mature, landscaped gardens on a gentle hillside. Its stunning outdoor terraces are where you’ll while away your days, admiring the panoramic vistas and soaking up the Mediterranean rays. Sunbathe on the deck and take shelter beneath the canopies, cooling off in the pool and lighting up the much-loved BBQ. There’s a myriad of large social areas and comfy, intimate hang-outs, where you can enjoy afternoon games and captivating sunsets.

If you need respite from the heat, you can retreat to the grandeur of indoors, with its elegant Provencal look and contemporary home comforts. Relax in the impressive morning room with its vaulted beamed ceilings, or in the casual lounge with its home theatre system. A farmhouse kitchen-diner is perfect for bustling, family breakfasts, while the formal dining room is ideal for sophisticated dinners. Each has been dressed with an unmistakeable French style, blending rustic, country touches with a decadent design.

Across the four-stories, you’ll also find 10 charming, designer bedrooms, finished with an array of modern en-suites and beautiful antique furniture. Offering spacious accommodation for up to 21 people, there are six doubles, three twins and a family room with a double and a single.

Spend your days exploring the verdant grounds, playing on the traditional Boules court or sitting out in the sun-drenched courtyard. There’s a poolside sound system for adding a soundtrack to your day, along with an indoor games room with a classic football table.

Pack a picnic hamper and head out for adventure, cycling through the wooded lanes and admiring the natural, country splendours. Treat yourself to sumptuous wine tasting tours and sun-kissed days at the coast or challenging days climbing the Mont Ventoux slopes. There’s also characterful, local villages that are well worth a visit, including Chateaux Neuf de Papes, Gigondas and Vacqueryas.
