Farriers Cottage is a newly-renovated three-storey cottage in central Hexham that sleeps six. The property has retained plenty of its original features and finishings, giving it a rustic, Scandi-style charm that is uniquely cosy. Contributing to this is the living room, which, boasting mood lighting and a log-burning stove, is the perfect place to wind down after a long day of exploring the highlights of Northumberland.

And, if exploring is something you're planning on doing lots of, then you'll be pleased to know that the property features dedicated onsite parking. However, if you'd rather stay in, then you'll find plenty to do; why not enjoy a relaxing glass of wine with your nearest and dearest in the courtyard? Guests are sure to have the perfect night's rest at Farriers Cottage, too and the bedrooms can be made up as either twin or king size rooms, so you can be certain that everyone will sleep as comfortably as possible.

The ground floor of the cottage is home to one of the property's three bedrooms, as well as a utility room, featuring a washer and dryer, and a WC with a wash basin. Proceeding up to the middle floor, you'll find Farriers Cottage's fully-equipped kitchen, boasting an oven/grill, gas hob, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, coffeemaker and plenty of other necessities. Also on this floor is the living space, which, in addition to its ambient lighting and wood-burning stove, features ample seating and a smart TV. Here you can get comfy with a glass of wine and socialise with your loved ones, or curl up on the sofa with a good book in front of the fireplace.

Finally, the third floor is home to the master bedroom and an additional bedroom. Both of these rooms are home to wall-mounted smart TVs and offer easy access to the family bathroom, which, with its lavish shower over bath and tasteful details, is the perfect place for a nice relaxing soak in the tub.

The charming town of Hexham offers plenty to do for guests on both shorter and longer stays. Farriers Cottage is found in the heart of Hexham and is within easy walking distance of a number of lovely restaurants, pubs and cafes. And, guests with a car will want to visit the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hadrian's Wall. One of the most historic landmarks in the whole of the UK, the Wall is just a 10-minute drive from the property.
