Everything Retreat

The Everything Retreat is nestled in the beautiful Ribble Valley, surrounded by countryside, and caters to couples seeking a luxurious break in tranquil surroundings where they can reconnect with nature and unwind. And with deluxe hot tubs, you and your loved ones have the chance to rest and relax in style.

There are 12 bespoke lodges in total, six of which are the Signature Collection, designed to compliment and reflect the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and six of which have unique themes including Highland Bothy, Ski Hutte and Asian Zen. They are all beautifully designed and decorated with an open plan living space where the light streams in through full-length glass windows.

Each lodge features a neat kitchenette area with the all important Nespresso machine, a combi-oven and a fridge where you can chill your bubbly. All of the lodges are fully stocked with crockery and glasses, and you can cosy up the intimate dining area and enjoy a romantic meal for two in privacy. If you fancy a little lazy indulgence you can order a breakfast hamper to be delivered to your door in the morning.

When it comes to relaxing, you have lots of options. Snuggle up by the wood burner with a glass of wine, play a game of cards, watch a movie or talk late into the night. The beds are king size, with special mattresses that promise a deeply comfortable and restful night's sleep entombed in crisp white linens and warm duvets. In the morning you'll have the underfloor heating to keep your toes toasty as you dash to the kettle, open your hamper and enjoy breakfast in bed and a long lie in.

When you're ready to face the day you can indulge in a long hot shower in the ensuite, make use of the locally sourced toiletries then wrap yourself up in a fluffy warm bathrobe straight off the heated rail. If it's a glorious morning you might like to take advantage of the outdoor seating area on your private terrace with a cup of coffee as you make your plans for the day.

You may choose to relax at your lodge, read a book curled up by the wood burner or fire up the hot tub and relax in the bubbling water with a cold drink and a stunning view.

But if you do want to explore the area there's plenty to keep you entertained. Ribble Valley is a foodies paradise and you'll find an array of excellent restaurants to choose from. Everything Retreat provides a concierge service too, just to make everything a little bit effortless.

Your concierge can recommend and book restaurants for you, arrange a sushi or afternoon tea delivery, provide flowers and even arrange a chauffeur. Fabulous historical sites include Clitheroe Castle and Whalley Abbey, and you'll find some blissful walks to enjoy including the highly recommended Tolkien Trail, Pendle Hill and Great Mitton which range from two to three hours in duration. After that, you can head back to your lovely lodge, pour yourself a well earned drink and soak your tired bones in the hot tub.
