This fabulous Argyll home is accessed via a private forestry track, which runs for five miles in one direction and three in the other before you hit any public roads. This ensures you and your loved ones are offered pure peace and tranquility, allowing you to rest and recuperate in the heart of nature.
Sitting in 17 acres of wild and cultivated gardens, Douniehouse is a homely stay with charming interiors and magical sea and garden views. There are two cosy sitting rooms, both of which are ideal for socialising with your nearest and dearest, with warming wood-burners and comfy seating options. Gather in either of these spaces with a glass of wine and chat the night away in style.
When it comes to meal prep, the large kitchen is nicely equipped with modern appliances, and the dining table sits in front of sliding glass doors ensuring you can make the most of the amazing views whether you’re enjoying a hearty meal or playing board games. Of course, on warm summer days, you’ll want to dine outside in the fresh sea air, surrounded by verdant greenery, beautiful flowers, and yet more amazing views out to the coast.
When night falls, the home has three cosy and comfy bedrooms, two of which are located on the top floor. One of these bedrooms features a king size bed and the other has a double, and both share a family bathroom.
