This spectacular beach house offers a deluxe stay just moments from the sandy beaches of Friars Cliff in Christchurch, Dorset. With a marvellous outdoor swimming pool and grand, spacious interiors, this is a superb retreat for groups of up to 10 guests making it perfect for friends and family.
Inside, the clean white walls and bold colours combine to create a stylish and unique living space, whilst gold touches add a sprinkle of glam to your stay. The downstairs features an abundance of social spaces, meaning you can spread out and catch up with loved ones in style.
There’s a cosy lounge area, with a super-stylish green sofa and giant glass doors that open up onto the swimming pool. Sit here with a drink in hand as your loved ones enjoy a dip in the water. Off this space there’s also a giant open-plan living area, with yet more comfy sofas at one end and a modern kitchen at the other.
The kitchen is wonderfully equipped with everything you need for preparing delicious meals for your group. And, there’s also a spacious island where you can get comfy on a barstool and keep your loved one company as they whip up a feast. Then, when dinner’s served dine together on the spacious table that seats your entire group, or take your meals out into the garden and dine on the patio in the fresh sea air.
The lawned garden is the true star of the show, with its wonderful swimming pool, where you can enjoy an afternoon swim or spend hours on a sun lounger by the water’s edge catching some rays. There’s also a covered hot tub, where you and your nearest and dearest can enjoy a glass of bubbles as the sun begins to set.
Back inside, Deco Beach has five fab bedrooms, all of which have been lovingly designed to offer a peaceful night’s sleep. One of the bedrooms even sits on the ground floor, making it ideal for anyone with mobility issues. Three of the bedrooms also have ensuite bathrooms for added privacy, some of which have deluxe free-standing bathtubs for indulgent bubbly soaks.
The house is ideally located between Christchurch and Highcliffe, offering easy access to both the countryside and the coast. Christchurch, a charming market and fishing town on Dorset’s eastern edge, is nestled between the New Forest and the vibrant seaside resort of Bournemouth. With a history dating back to the Domesday Book, it’s a great spot for a family day out, full of historic sites and local character.
Just to the east, Highcliffe is a quaint village known for its dramatic shingle beaches, boutique shops and popular cliff-top cafés. It’s also home to Highcliffe Castle - a Grade I listed masterpiece of Romantic and Picturesque architecture. Once the residence of Mr. Selfridge, the castle now serves as a stunning event venue and family-friendly attraction, hosting weddings and seasonal events throughout the year.
