Holbeach Fen, Lincolnshire
Wild West inspired cowboy glamping cabins in the Lincolnshire countryside with wood-burning stoves and barbecues.
Located in the heart of the picturesque county of Lincolnshire, Deadwood Cabins is a collection of two unique glamping cabins, each capable of comfortably accommodating up to two guests. The cabins boast full amenities indoors and outside, and are decorated throughout in the style of a historic Western saloon. A delightful self-catering holiday destination with a twist, Deadwood Cabins are the ultimate glamping experience for cowboy culture enthusiasts and anybody looking for something a little more adventurous. Guests are required to be 21 years old or over to stay at Deadwood Cabins.
Rawhide Saloon comes with a choice of twin beds or super-king in the spacious, Western-themed space, and is kitted out with a fully plumbed in hot water bathroom. It's extra cosy throughout the year thanks to the built in wood-burning stove, with free logs provided for the duration of your stay, and a television for entertainment. The other cabin, Longhorn Saloon, is designed for couples, with a single ultra-comfortable super-king sized bed, and otherwise offering the same amenities as Rawhide Saloon.
The interiors of both cabins really have to be witnessed to be appreciated fully, with their collections of old Western regalia, including art, clothes, antiques, furniture and miscellaneous decorative fittings. Everything about these two spaces perfectly recalls the old American West, and they are truly unique as a self-catering holiday destination in Lincolnshire. Saddles hang overhead, buffalo signs decorate the internal walls, and all of the bedlinen recalls the small town in Arizona which inspired this once in a lifetime space. Outside, the theme continues, with a private barbecue for each cabin, perfect for grilling a medley of meats at the end of a long day spent exploring the beautiful Spalding region.
Popular with couples and friends alike, Lincolnshire is a beautiful and charming county which has long been celebrated for its historic architecture and rolling wooded hills. Aside from countless footpaths and cycling routes for visitors looking to take in the scenery, there are a number of excellent destinations in close proximity to the cabins, capable of catering to every taste. Fishpond Lane Nature Reserve is popular with walkers, outdoors enthusiasts and families of all ages, while there is everything from brewery tours to pottery painting on offer in the immediately surrounding area. As far as dining is concerned, head to the Central Fish Bar or the The Red Lion pub in nearby Holbeach. Or check out The Blue Bell, for a relaxed pub-style meal with excellent food and a great atmosphere every night of the week.
